Dante Ursini is a licensed psychotherapist who treats adults struggling with substance use challenges at the Center for Drug and Alcohol Programs (CDAP). He specializes in Complex Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Developmental Trauma, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and presenting symptomatology (anxiety, worry, fear, sadness, depression, fractured self-worth, inattention, addiction, impulsivity, etc.) that typically manifests due to a trauma of the mind during one’s life. Additionally, he is a retired police officer who embraces working with first responders and members of the military. He works exclusively with adults and bases his treatment using Internal Family Systems (IFS). Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and CBT for Addictions are eclectically integrated.
